Now found under the menu item BOOK PROFILES, there is a drop down menu of a growing list of book pages, each featuring a background story and images of some of the pop-ups in each. You should be able to access the pages there. Just click on each image for a larger view. Profiles of other books or pop-up projects will continue to be added as time allows. You can also access these detail pages by going to the BOOK LIST page. Scroll down past the cover photos to a text list of books and click links where available.

Halloween at the Zoo

 

Following the success of designing pop-up cards for Up With Paper, I was asked to design the first books for their new book imprint, Jumping Jack Press. The first of these was Halloween at the Zoo, cleverly illustrated by Jason O’Malley, a frequent partner with mine when working on pop-up cards for Up With Paper.

Featuring humorous illustrations, imaginative engineering, and all topped off with silver foil and sparkles throughout, this is a book that entertains every child.

Following this release, Jason and I teamed up again for Christmas at the Zoo and again for Splish Splash Dog Bash and Kirby’s Derby.  Pages devoted just to these will be up very soon!
